Mountain Jelica is a natural boundary between Dragacevo and Cacak¢s basin, situated 20 kilometres from “Vajati”. It spreads in the direction northwest-southeast covering the distance of 30 kilometres. The highest point is called Black Rock (929 m). On Jelica, there is a monument – a fountain called “Rusovaca” (on Karaula), built by king Alexander I Karadjordjevic in 1927. Golija is one of the most beautiful mountains in Serbia, the richest in woods and lakes, and it is situated 60 kilometres far from ” Vajati “, raising above the town called Ivanjica. ZLATIBOR

Zlatibor is one of the most famous Serbian mountains, full of tame slopes and conifers, spreading on the area of about 1.000 km2. The higest point is Tornik (1.496 m). Zlatibor is a famous place for spending summer and winter holidays, and it is a climatic sanatorium, too. A highway which leads from Belgrade towards the Montenegro coast passes through Zlatibor. RUDNIK

Rudnik mountain, which dominates central Serbia, is located about 100 kilometres south from Belgrade, and 55 kilometres away from ” Vajati “. The highest point is called Cvijicev (1.132 m). You can reach Rudnik easily because of very good roads. The advantages of Rudnik are the proximity of the historic places called Oplenac and Takovo, monasteries Vracevsnica, Voljavac, Nikolje… This mountain offers you favourable climate, clean air and many paths for hiking. There are two towns on this mountain, too: Topola and Rudnik.

OPLENAC

On the stony hill called Oplenac, above the town Topola, a historical-memorial complex was preserved, in which all the members of the kingly family of Karadjordjevic were buried.
Oplenac comprises:
- a Mausoleum (the Church of Saint George);
- a monument devoted to Djordje Petrovic – Karadjordje, who was a leader of the First Serbian Uprising;
- a huge park;
- a villa of king Alexander I Karadjordjevic;
- a villa of queen Maria;
- a house of king Peter;
- a hotel ” Karadjordje “;
- vineyards and royal cellars.

MALJEN – DIVCIBARE

Aroung the town called Valjevo, and about 100 kilometres from “Vajati “, there is a mountain called Maljen. A special part of Maljen is a plateau called Divcibare, situated at average height of 1.000 metres above sea level. Divcibare is a famous aerial spa, healing lung problems, nervousness, one type of anemia, weakness, thinness, dermatitis.
