Ovcar Banja (Ovcar spa) is situated only 35 km away from “Vajati”, in Ovcar-Kablar gorge, in a very picturesque area.  It is highly protected by the Serbian state as one of the most important natural water sources. It lies at 278 metres above sea level. Water temperature of the thermal springs of the spa is 37.5° C and it is used for therapies. Healing properties of these waters and their importance were well-known even in the 15th century. It cures: rhumatism, sports wounds, degenerative diseases (spondylosis and arthritis). Guests visit this spa both for healing and recreation. They use swimming-pool and sports terrains within the spa area. Nearby the spa, there are 10 monasteries in Ovcar-Kablar gorge.
